Refurbishment: a second—and even a third—life for STALICO® towers

STALICO® towers They are often left outdoors for more than 15 years. After being refurbished with new cameras and panels, they are put back into service.
A mobile camera tower is left outdoors day and night: in rain, wind, frost, and heat, on construction sites and other locations where it is moved around time and time again. Yet STALICO® towers have been standing outdoors for more than 15 years. That’s no coincidence: every tower is designed and built in Beerse using hot-dip galvanized steel to ensure a long service life.
Refurbish Instead of Replace
After years in the field, a STALICO® tower is returning to our workshop. There, it will undergo a thorough overhaul:
- Inspection and maintenance of the telescopic tower, winches, and cables
- new batteries and an electrical inspection
- the latest camera technology on the tower
- new panels, such as for a new logo, a different phone number, or updated company information
After that, the same tower goes back online for a second—or even a third—life.
A new corporate identity, but the same tower
If a customer changes its logo or contact information, there’s no need to replace the entire fleet. We install new panels, and the towers are immediately ready for use in the new corporate identity.
Very low TCO
A tower that lasts more than 15 years and can then be put back into service costs much less over its entire lifespan than a tower that needs to be replaced after just a few years. You make a one-time investment in a solid foundation and keep the technology up to date. That makes the total cost of ownership (TCO) of a STALICO® tower particularly low. Moreover, it’s more sustainable: less waste and fewer new raw materials.
