Construction site battery
Reliable power is essential, whether you are working on a construction site, organizing an event or managing temporary infrastructure. The STALICO® construction site battery offers a solid and environmentally friendly solution. Thanks to flexible charging options (mains power, generators or solar panels), you always have access to efficient and sustainable energy.

What is a construction site battery or mobile battery?
A construction site battery, also known as a mobile battery, is a device that supplies electricity via a rechargeable battery. It stores electrical energy when there is a surplus, for example from the electricity grid or an external generator. This stored energy can then be used during peak consumption or when no direct energy source is available. This allows a construction site battery to provide a continuous and stable power supply.

Renewable energy for temporary projects
The STALICO® POWER ACCU offers an innovative and environmentally friendly solution for temporary power supply. This mobile battery enables an easy transition to renewable energy and can be used in locations where a reliable power source is essential.
Our construction site battery can be used at events as well as remote projects. This flexible power supply ensures efficient and cost-effective energy.
Smartenergy solution
The construction site battery can be powered in various ways:
- Mains power: Connection to a fixed low power supply for a stable power supply.
- Generator: Works in conjunction with a local generator to maintain a stable load, reducing unnecessary starting and stopping of the generator. This results in significant fuel savings.
- Mobile solar panels (optional): Charges the battery via solar power for maximum durability.
Through smart monitoring and an advanced energy management system, the STALICO® POWER ACCU ensures that energy consumption is optimized and waste is minimized. This makes it an ideal choice for green energy solutions.
When do you deploy the STALICO® Power Battery?
This construction site battery is perfect for:
- Construction sites: Power supply without dependence on the grid.
- Events: Sustainable energy solution for festivals and outdoor activities.
- Military and emergency situations: Reliable power in remote locations.
- Temporary infrastructures: Support temporary facilities such as pop-up offices or yard chains.
Different models
The STALICO® Power Battery is available in three different models, each with powerful specifications for a variety of applications. Both the TYPE 5000 and TYPE 10000 with 40 kWh storage capacity offer a maximum solar input of 4800 WP, allowing for efficient charging through solar panels.
The TYPE 5000 site battery provides an output of 15 kVA / 12 kW, while the TYPE 10000 has a doubled output of 30 kVA / 24 kW. Both versions support charging currents of 210A and 420A, respectively, with input options of 63A 5P / 16A 3P for the TYPE 5000 and 125A 5P / 16A 3P for the TYPE 10000.
In addition, there is a more powerful version of the TYPE 10000 construction site battery with a storage capacity of 57 kWh, which offers the same output and charging options as its 40 kWh variant.
Sustainable and efficient
With the mobile battery, you not only save on fuel costs, but also reduce CO₂ emissions. The combination of battery storage and solar energy provides an environmentally friendly and forward-looking energy supply.

Frequently Asked Questions
Although the construction industry is the main user of site batteries, they are also often used in the event industry because of their temporary nature.
By using a yard battery, there is no noise or odor nuisance, unlike a diesel generator. This is often a big advantage at construction sites or events in busy city centers, where nearby residents may otherwise experience nuisance.
Renting or buying a yard battery should always be weighed against using a diesel generator. Although a yard battery may be more expensive in many cases, there are situations where there is really no alternative. Disadvantages of a diesel generator such as CO₂ emissions, odor and noise pollution, and its non-sustainable nature should be factored into the decision, especially given the relatively small additional cost of a yard battery.
There are two common options:
- Either a hybrid setup is used, with a diesel generator starting up only on a limited basis to charge the yard battery on site.
- Either the yard battery is exchanged and charged elsewhere to a fixed installation.
Both methods provide a more efficient and environmentally friendly use of energy at the site or event.
GR Technics rents and sells mobile battery systems, ideal for your yard or event.
It is essential to place the yard battery on a flat surface and provide proper grounding on site.
Renting or buying a yard battery should always be weighed against using a diesel generator. Although some situations offer few alternatives, the disadvantages of a diesel generator, such as CO₂ emissions, odor and noise pollution, and its unsustainable nature, often weigh heavily. These aspects should be considered in the choice, even if a yard battery often means a slightly higher investment.
Renting or buying a yard battery should always be weighed against using a diesel generator. Although a yard battery is often more expensive, some situations do not allow any other choice. CO₂ emissions, odor and noise pollution, and the unsustainable nature of a diesel generator are major drawbacks that must be weighed against the relatively small additional cost of a yard battery.
The lack of noise and odor emissions makes a yard battery very popular for events. Both local residents and event visitors are therefore no longer bothered by a diesel generator.
This depends entirely on the electrical consumption. GR Technics is happy to discuss with the customer which consumers should be connected and how long the yard batteries can last in that particular situation.
This depends entirely on the electrical consumers. GR Technics is happy to check with the customer which consumers need to be supplied and how much current is needed in that situation. This can even go up to about 125A.
The yard battery is either charged through a fixed installation, for example at GR Technics with power supplied by solar panels, or it is recharged by a diesel generator.
This depends entirely on electrical consumption. GR Technics is happy to work with the customer to see which consumers should be provided and how long the yard batteries will last under those conditions.
GR Technics often combines site batteries with a Ground Solar solution. This extends autonomy and capacity while charging the batteries with green, renewable electricity.
This ranges from small battery packs of 19 kWh to larger yard batteries of 57 kWh. GR Technics is happy to work with you to see which battery is best suited for your specific application.
GR Technics' systems are always designed for year-round use, even during the winter months!
Yes, when the site battery charge level falls below a certain limit, a diesel generator can be started automatically to recharge the battery.
Yes certainly, in fact, this is becoming more and more the norm than the exception.
