From requirement to delivery: STALICO® personal approach
The STALICO® product line always focuses on complete personalization. Of course, a camera mast must not only be functional, but must also perfectly match the look and feel of your company. Our process is carefully structured to optimally translate your wishes into a customized product.
Everything starts with a conversation with our customer service, where we identify your needs and specific wishes. Once these have been determined and applied to the desired products, the production manager takes over the process. He creates a detailed schedule from assembly to delivery so that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. During the final stage, the camera mast is given the look you want, completely in line with your corporate identity. After thorough testing, we make the order ready for delivery, so you are guaranteed to receive a product that not only meets the technical requirements, but also reinforces your visual identity.
A personalized camera tower is important because it contributes to your company's professional image and helps to leave a recognizable and reliable impression on customers and visitors. At GR Technics, we make that translation possible, always with an eye for detail.
Sustainable options for camera surveillance
Sustainable and environmentally friendly camera masts from STALICO® are the ideal choice for companies that combine ecological responsibility with practical benefits. These self-sufficient masts use solar energy, making them completely independent of external power supplies. This makes them ideally suited for locations where it is difficult to install a regular power supply.
The combination of sustainability, energy independence and ease of use makes STALICO® camera masts a smart choice for any business looking to minimize its impact on the environment without sacrificing functionality.

Frequently Asked Questions
A camera tower is a mobile, extendable structure equipped with surveillance cameras, designed for temporary or permanent security of sites without fixed infrastructure. Our STALICO® camera towers offer flexible solutions for various sectors, such as construction, events and industry, and can be customized to meet specific needs, including sustainable solar-powered options.
In our 20 years of experience, we find that infrastructure works such as cable burying and pouring foundations for fixed camera masts are becoming increasingly complex and expensive. On top of that, obtaining permits for fixed camera masts or poles is often difficult or even impossible. As a result, in many projects we see that the slightly higher cost of a temporary, mobile camera tower can be justified. For long-term security, a fixed camera tower or pole obviously remains the most sustainable solution.
Mobile camera units are available on the market in which cameras and security equipment are compactly installed. These units do need to be placed at height, such as on scaffolding, lampposts or construction cranes, and often require electrical power. With a mobile camera tower , however, no fixed infrastructure is needed and, in the case of autonomous towers , not even an electrical connection.
In our 20 years of experience, we have noticed that cable burying and casting foundations for fixed camera masts has become increasingly complex and expensive. On top of this, it is often difficult or even impossible to obtain permits for fixed camera masts or poles. Therefore, in many projects we see that the slightly higher cost of a temporary mobile camera tower can be well justified. For long-term security projects, of course, a fixed camera pole or tower remains the best choice.
The rules vary from country to country, but are mostly similar. This is why many of our customers also rent their camera masts across the border. For more details, please contact our regular customers, who have experience with this.
- Camera masts provide fast, flexible and effective security for business premises without the need for fixed infrastructure. They increase visibility, work to prevent intrusions and can be easily moved or adapted to changing situations.
In most camera towers, there is some sort of communications hub. This is then often compatible with other detection equipment or alarm or access control systems placed around the camera tower tower. In this, then, the camera tower often serves as a communications or data center.
The tower is delivered by crane or via STALICO® Transport. On site, it is manually raised, powered, and the security system is activated. The complete installation takes only about ten minutes and is usually done by a trained driver.
This requires expertise and is not always easy to determine. That's why we like to invite clients to discuss this together. With our 20 years of experience, we guide them smoothly to the right solution.
This depends on the type of camera and the level of detail or resolution required. For example, the most powerful cameras can recognize persons at distances of up to 100 meters.
Camera towers are equipped with detection sensors and cameras that operate via a communications hub and advanced electronics in the tower . They can operate completely autonomously on solar power, or be connected to mains power for full-fledged camera surveillance - including recording, energy monitoring and tamper protection.
A construction site or event usually has a generator that can supply power to the mobile camera towers, or a temporary power cable is installed from a fixed power source or temporary site closet.
To best protect citizens' privacy, it is mandatory for anyone installing a surveillance camera to strictly comply with the Privacy Act and the Camera Act. In this way, a balance is maintained between the interests of both parties: the filmer and the filmed.
The Privacy Act aims to protect citizens from the misuse of their personal data. It defines both the rights and obligations of data subjects (those whose data are processed) and of data controllers.
The Camera Law regulates the conditions for installing and using surveillance cameras, for the purpose of surveillance and monitoring.
If you contact us, we are happy to refer you to one of our clients in your area.
The main rule is that camera footage should be primarily for monitoring your own private property. You must take this into account when placing mobile camera masts and aiming the cameras.
Some camera towers are equipped with a so-called NVR that stores the images locally (in the tower). Other camera towers are designed to send all data directly over 4G or 5G to the Cloud for storage. So both solutions are possible.
A mobile camera tower is ideal for temporary projects, such as construction sites or events, but also perfectly deployable in locations without fixed infrastructure, think of places without poles, walls or power supply.
In addition, a mobile tower is particularly convenient for urgent interventions. It can be installed in only about ten minutes, whereas installing a fixed camera pole takes considerably more time.
According to the Camera Law, a surveillance camera is any fixed or mobile surveillance system that collects, processes or stores images for the purpose of:
- preventing, establishing or detecting crimes (e.g., a co-owners' association that wants to combat vandalism in the entrance hall),
- preventing, establishing or detecting nuisances (e.g., a municipality that wants to address vandalism),
- or maintaining public order (e.g., during an annual fair).
Thus, even when using a mobile camera tower , the Camera Law must be strictly adhered to.
Mobile camera towers are not only effective in preventing and detecting theft, but also contribute to site safety. Many towers are equipped with lighting that illuminates dark areas, creating a safer working environment for workers.
Moreover, modern camera masts can be equipped with smart cameras that even detect the wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Temporary camera masts are smart to deploy in situations with increased risk of theft, vandalism or accidents, such as during events, construction projects or temporary storage. They offer rapidly deployable, flexible security without the need for fixed infrastructure.
The largest users of mobile camera masts have traditionally been industry and the event sector. Increasingly, municipal authorities and police districts are also discovering the usefulness and convenience of these mobile solutions, for example, in preventing nuisance and combating fly-tipping.
Military applications are often very specific, but are a growing market segment.
To best ensure the privacy of citizens, it is mandatory that anyone installing a surveillance camera comply with the Privacy Act and the Camera Act. In this way, the interests of everyone involved, both the filmer and the filmed, are carefully respected.
The Privacy Act protects citizens from the misuse of their personal data and regulates both the rights and obligations of individuals whose data is processed and those of processors.
The Camera Act specifically addresses the placement and use of surveillance cameras for the purpose of surveillance and monitoring.
There are different types of camera towers such as towers for harsh conditions, towers with motion sensors, and Camera towers for temporary applications. There are also durable variants such as the Solar Tower and Wind Turbine, compact models for rapid deployment, and even an advanced Drone Hub for aerial surveillance of large or hard-to-reach areas.
